This is a 191 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Bruce Riley's painting "Stem Cell". Designed by Tara Flannery, the themed whimsies and miniature hexagonal connectors coupled with psychedelic colors and abstract shapes make for an exciting experience. The puzzle's irregular, microscopic-themed edge adds to the uniqueness and challenge (the difficulty is above average). NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box!
Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in a blue box with magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

This was my first Artifact puzzle in early 2018, and I have gifted it several times since! This puzzle was so fantastic that I kept coming back for more! I now have a fairly robust ‘puzzle library’ for a few special friends. This puzzle is very doable for folks who aren’t confident about puzzling, and a wonderful way to explore the world of wooden puzzles if you are more used to cardstock/cardboard puzzles.

Stem Cell was my first Artifact puzzle. With around 60 puzzles in my collection now, this one remains in my top favorites. It is colorful, beautiful, and engaging. The puzzle design is fabulous and the irregular border is delightful. It is doubtful I will ever tire of doing this puzzle. I have introduced it to several people and it seems to be universally loved. I highly recommend it to those new to wooden puzzles as well as seasoned puzzlers. It moves at a good pace, is challenging enough and is thoroughly fun.
